We offer a comprehensive Pharmacy Technician program with hands-on training and theoretical instruction. Skilled technicians are in high demand, and with the right training, you can find success in this field.
Entry-level pharmacy technicians work directly with licensed pharmacists and supervising technicians. They can assist in the day-to-day activities of the pharmacy by filling prescriptions, helping customers, ordering medications and supporting the pharmacist.
Technicians can also be involved with reviewing patient drug allergies, medication dosages, potential interactions and incompatibilities. High-Tech Institute can prepare to give each student the knowledge and skill set to complete these tasks and more!
Our coursework consists of lecture, demonstration and hands-on laboratory procedures. In addition to career-focused, hands-on training, students can participate in an externship to further their skills in the pharmacy field.
